The Avon Valley Vintage Vehicle Association of WA Inc was founded on 27th June, 1985.
Clubrooms are situated in Fitzgerald Street, Northam, adjoining the Old Railway Station Museum. At the rear of the Museum is the Club shed and a well-equipped workshop, constructed by the AVVVA members themselves.
Meetings are held at the Clubrooms on the third Saturday of the month, at 10.30 am unless otherwise notified in the newsletter or on the Web Site.
A monthly newsletter is available on the Club website or posted to those who pay a postage fee with their subscription. Members can advertise in the newsletter for free in the ‘wanted’ or ‘for sale’ sections.
The Club attends various Agricultural Shows and other country events during the year.
Our annual swap meet is held in Northam, in February each year.
A variety of club regalia is available for purchase to AVVVA members.
Club fees are due 30th June each year. For a new membership payed after 1st April, the fees would be next due the following year, so example new member pays after 1st April 2021 would be financial to 30th June 2022. Approval of a new membership at a club meeting is conditional, until the receipt of the appropriate Club Fees into the Club Account is verified.

In April 2013 the Dept. of Transport ceased the mandatory annual inspections, however all other conditions of Code 404, concessional licences still apply. The The responsibility now lies solely with the Owner and any breach of conditions will under Section 19 (17) of the Road Traffic Act deem the vehicle to be unlicensed.
