A convoy of vehicles will be travelling to the event on Sunday 7 April 2024. To join the convoy be at the AVVVA Club Rooms in Northam at 7:30am. The convoy will depart the clubrooms at 7:45am sharp.

Come and be part of the celebration!
Celebrating our 80th year, you are all welcome to fly-in or drive-in to YCUN, over the weekend of Sat 6th and Sun 7th April, where we have pleasure in hosting you for our Open Day, in celebration of 80 years in aviation. On-offer will be glider flights, airfield & town tours, Aircraft tours, pilot meet and greet, parachute display, Lockheed Neptune VH-NEP Ground tour, Jaguar Car Club display, RFDS display and aircraft will be open for viewing, gliding simulator, BBQ lunch (Sat & Sun) and Dinner on Sat night.
You can stay the night (air-conditioned bedrooms - double and single rooms, be first to book), or bring your tent or swag, plenty of room available in our caravan park. Plenty of accomodation is available at the Cunderdin Agricultural College, please enquire with me for bookings, both twin and single rooms are available.
All Airport Landing Fees have been waived for 6th and 7th April.
We ask for a gold coin donation as an entrance fee which goes to the RFDS and also entitles you to a chance to win a Glider flight.

If you are flying in, please email for an Airfield welcome pack that will be circulated closer to the event. It is also helpful for us to know approximate expected aircraft that will fly-in so we can have sufficient marshalling available and tie down areas.
